It’s been quiet lately, both here and the general hype around Black Ops and whatever issues it brought us. Myself haven’t played the game for a few days, and can’t really be fussed either.

And by the looks of it I’m not alone.

The urge of getting the game to work have slowly transformed into a bitter ignorance and boycot. Atleast until the game is patched and fixed anyway. We are still planning the release for Black Ops but can’t really progress much further until we see something happen from Treyarch side.

We haven’t heard much from the devs either, and as we are waiting for Mod Tools the list of things needed to be fixed are growing. We can do alot with Promod (if the game allow us to) but not everything! The bad port and terrible performance issue that it comes with it for one, but also the fact you can’t play offline, blacklisted dvars and restricted server structure to mention a few.

Good news is that we still can play and enjoy COD4! And to celibrate that we are, within a near future, releasing a new version of Promod LIVE. The release will have a few bugfixes but also adds a new nifty knife round function for example. More details coming soon so keep an eye open!
